Making and answering calls with a desk phone

Desk-bound phones, briefing phones and a range of hardware products are available in 1 Cyberspace Business and One Net Office.

When y'all want to make a call on your desk-bound phone, you can dial the number in a couple of ways. If y'all receive a call when y'all're already busy, you lot can respond or ignore a new call.

Cisco desk-bound phones

To make a call on your desk-bound phone

  1. Pick up the receiver or, for hands-free access, press your speaker, headset or 1 of your line central buttons.

  2. Enter the phone number you want to dial using one of the following options.

    • Press the speed dial or BLF cardinal for the contact you want to phone call.

    • Enter #8 and the speed dial code to punch a personal speed dial contact.

      Or

      Enter #7 and the speed dial code to punch a visitor speed dial contact.
